Owner welcome guide
You're one of the 40 Western Cape owners deciding what goes into our new 3-month Everyday Low Price promotion. This guide shows you how to sign in, add your product picks, submit, and discuss with the rest of the collective. Five minutes top.
We're replacing the old MM Guild promo with a 20-product ELP running for 3 months — chosen by the collective. The bigger the volume we pool, the harder we can negotiate with suppliers. The cleaner the data, the more credible our supplier pack. Your picks become a vote. Top 4 per division become the ELP list.
Goal: protect margin, secure better pricing, drive in-store foot traffic. We replace WhatsApp threads with a proper backend so nothing gets lost.

Fill in your name, your SPAR store name, your email (any email works — doesn't have to be a SPAR address), and a password (at least 8 characters).

Just the name is required. Brand, size and a preferred supplier note are optional but help massively with supplier conversations.
You can come back later and finish. Drafts don't count towards the vote yet — only Submitted ones do.
Tap the green Submit button. You'll see a confirmation pop-up listing every product. Confirm and your picks are locked in (you can still edit until the deadline).
The dashboard shows X of 5 divisions complete. Aim for all 5 before the deadline.
Got a question, a supplier quote, or a suggestion? Use the in-app Discussion board (top-bar link). Beats losing it in a WhatsApp group.
- Start a new thread from the green box at the top of /discussion.
- Replies are chronological. Conan and the other owners get to see your question and respond.
- Conan can pin important threads to the top and lock threads once resolved.
- You can delete your own posts.
Check the countdown on your dashboard. Conan can update it from his admin settings — you'll see the new date there.
Yes — until the deadline, or until Conan locks submissions.
3 to 6 is the sweet spot. Less than 3 doesn't really help the vote; more than 6 gets noisy.
Yes for supplier negotiation. If you're indifferent on brand, leave it blank.
They count as one vote per product, normalised by name. Top 4 most-voted per division become the final ELP list.
No. Only Conan (super admin) sees individual owner submissions. Other owners only see the live ranked totals once the report goes out.
